Hi Nigel, thanks for your kind feedback. To be honest this was a difficult ranking as there aren't any poor albums in their collection at all, so placing their 2nd at the bottom was a little bit arbitrary. Also having reviewed the middle period albums again, and listened to the latter period ones for the first time, I appreciated these a lot more having dismissed them before. As I say the whole span is fairly close, with a consensus being Red just about at the peak.

I may well do a song ranking, that's a nice idea, although would be even more arbitrary I fear. I'm confident Starless would be no. 1 though as generally agreed amongst fans which is surprising given the consistency of their output.
